Dangerous Risks Associated with Soy

After reading the title of this article, if you are one of those believe soy is a healthy and nutritional food that is only going to help promote a healthier lifestyle, then you above everyone else should continue reading.  This article is going to demonstrate some of the risk associate with soy that are very dangerous for the human body, whether it be immediate dangers or future dangers.  We will take a look at some of the reasons you may be consuming soy and enlighten you on the truth of the matter.
You may have hard that soy can help prevent osteoporosis; however, this statement is simply just not true.  Soy actually can cause a scarcity in Vitamin D and Calcium, which are both very much needed in order to develop healthy bones.
It has also been said that soy products can help prevent breast cancer and other common types of cancer.  There has been little to no evidence to actually support this statement.  In reality, it is very likely that soy products can increase your risk of common types of cancer.
Soy products have been said to help with menopause in women.  The truth of this is that soy products actually can cause problems with your thyroid and can develop into the growth of estrogen reliant tumors.  The problems with your thyroid could lead to pre and postmenopausal problems.
Many claim that soy products can enhance your mind ability; however, the consumption of soy products can in fact lower your concentration and memory abilities.
If soy doesn’t do any of those things, it must actually help prevent heart disease, right?  No.  Yes, it is true, that is some people that soy foods may actually help to lower the overall cholesterol (this doesn’t mean that it will you as every individual is different); however, there has been no research or studies successfully conducted that prove that soy foods can help prevent heart disease.
Now, are you thinking about the Japanese consuming soy products all day every day?  If so, it’s not true either.  Te Japanese do not replace their food with soy products; they simply add it into their meals each day.  They don’t add large amounts, though, instead, they consume just a couple tablespoons on a daily basis of soy so as to not affect their lifestyles.Soy Benefits
